- I am a big believer in emphasizing the "student" in "student/athlete". Every kid that goes through our basketball program knows that I expect a lot of them in the classroom. I challenge each of our players to work as hard as they can and to be the best student that they can be. The challenge for each student/athlete that plays basketball for Jordan High School is to get a 3.5 GPA in each and every grading period. This is a year round challenge and it does not begin or end with the basketball season. Our student/athletes are strongly encouraged to sit in the front of their classes and be active participants in each of their classes. So far in my two years at Jordan High we have had tremendous success in the classroom, and we look forward to continuing this success for many years to come. We are proud to represent the Jordan High community with student/athletes that are actively committed to and have a strong belief in achieving academic excellence.
